I've been in game dev since 2007, working my way up from a community volunteer role to leading teams at studios like Cryptic, Trion Worlds, and Aeria Games. I've shipped over a dozen games, mostly in the MMO trenches where everything breaks in creative new ways.
After going through another round of post-Covid layoffs (on both sides), I founded Risbin Games LLC in 2025 to provide QA and Production consultation services for indie studios. I've had one dedicated client so far (Soft Rains) and I'm looking forward to establishing another next year!
